Washington State DFI publishes the law and rules on the state website for free. So you seriously don't have to pay me to read what you can read for free. Don't buy these quizzes! Go read the law! Okay so why am I offering these quizzes?....Because people don't want to read the law.
So I wrote a set of practice quizzes to take you through ONLY the WA State Mortgage Broker Practices Act law one section at a time. The sections are broken down in a step-by-step logical order. You can choose to read the section of the law and then try your hand at the quiz questions, or go right to the quiz questions like most people do and then you can see what you think you know, and find out what sections of the law and rules you need to read. Those sections are linked inside each quiz.

Read only the sections of the law where you're scoring low or read all sections. There's nothing stopping you from not reading our state's law, though I highly recommend that if you're going to be the DB for your company, that it would be a super good idea for you to know and understand our state's law. This test is tough. WA State probably does this on purpose---what we don't want in WA State is DBs who don't know our law. The test almost requires that you know the law so our whole focus in this prep course is on the Mortgage Broker Practices Act.
You'll be tested in other areas like licensing (The SAFE Act) and disclosures (TILA, RESPA)
You probably will be able to get those^ test questions right because you already know the basics of those laws.
It's the subtle nuances of how WA State Mortgage Broker laws differ from other states that may trip you up and that's why your study time should be allocated to WA State's laws.
And WA DFI tells you in their Test Content Outline that you may receive questions on other parts of WA State Law such as laws governing appraisers and real estate brokers. I've provided a step-by-step strategy on how to study here.
